On Saturday, October 12, 2019, there was a collapse of a portion of the Hard Rock Hotel under construction at the corner of Canal and Rampart streets in the downtown New Orleans.
DH Griffin Wrecking officials were among those brought in to determine a course of action and then to follow through. The first step was the explosive demolition of the unstable cranes at the construction site which was completed on Sunday, Oct 20, 2019. [Video courtesy of WDSU and WGNO]
