Gator Bowl Stadium Demolition

Jacksonville, Fla.

Within days of the final game played in the stadium, D.H. Griffin began the demolition of the Gator Bowl Stadium. DHG removed all structures and footings and foundations, except for the upper deck and press box structures which were strategically separated. Demolition and related site work was done on fast track schedule to make way for the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars. Work was successfully completed in (6) weeks.

PROJECT SUMMARY:

  • DHG removed all structure except for the upper deck and press box.
  • All metal and concrete debris for the site was recycled.
